*Mentoring

With more than 700 members, AWP has already created an incredible network of arts workers with a plethora of knowledge and experiences that can be shared and learned from.

Our mentoring programme leans on the alliance, where our members are able to support one another by mentoring each other.

We have received positive feedback from members who have already been part of the mentoring programme, with both mentors/mentees have been learning from one another. 

If you could offer some time as a mentor, or if you are interested in being mentored, please let us know and we’ll help match you together.

Please note: we have far more requests for mentoring than offers to mentor, so we recommend that people are open to peer-to-peer mentoring, where members can both give and receive support to one another.

AWP will connect you to each other and mentoring will happen online, after that, it is up to you how you structure the mentoring sessions with your partner. However we suggest meeting for around 45 minutes online, once a month, for 2-4 sessions.
